Asian Wedding Invitations

Weddings are smashing events wherever they take place but have you ever noticed the differences in the culture and the styles? With this in mind stationers have introduced many varieties of wedding invitation cards that cross the culture gap without causing offence to any party.

Asian wedding invitations take into account the Hindu religion, Sikh religion and Indian religions etc. Many are very colorful and come with the appropriate symbols to make the invitation look very special.

Some of the prettiest Asian wedding invitations of offer are actually scrolls. The invitation is written on high quality paper – on offer in many colors – and then rolled into a scroll on silvery rods at the top and bottom. Silvery tassels complete this very ornate look and will be admired by all.

Other Asian wedding invitations come in gold filigree designs on a colored background – again this can tone with or compliment the wedding party colors – with an appropriate symbol (religious) at the center.

The Sikh culture believes that marriage is a sacred function. With this in mind these cards – along with the Punjabi culture – come in appropriate colors and styles so as not to offend any party.

For something a bit more modern there are folded cards made to look like a small purse. They have an all over pattern in embossed metallic on a background of any color suitable to the wedding. When the envelope is opened it displays the invitation in style and elegance.

But being Asian does not necessarily mean you are restricted to these somewhat traditional designs. A lot of funky youngsters – as the advertisers like to call them! - opt for a far more modern approach to the Asian wedding invitation. They can choose their own symbols – or none – and have a kind of flower power design instead. This is especially helpful if the couple come from different cultural backgrounds.

Although these were some of the most attractive Asian wedding invitations on offer they were also amongst some of the most affordable cards around with one on offer for much less than one dollar!
